This is a watch that has triggered lots of my imagination. I try to picture what beautiful things would happen, when time goes peacefully like a melody. Perhaps it’s a bit too late now to introduce this Piaget Polo Tourbillon Relatif Watch, which was unveiled last year in 2010. Well, I missed it, and the first sight of it told me that I shouldn’t have done that. To make it up, I present to you this gorgeous and rather special timepiece right here.

You can easily see the uniqueness of this Piaget one-of-a-kind watch, which uses music notes as hour-markers. The case is crafted in 18-carat white gold, measuring 25.60 mm in diameter. Take a closer look and then you will see another special part, and that will be the musical instruments in black grand feu enamelling on both sides, beautifully decorating the case and echoing with the notes on the dial. The reverse side features image of a jazzman.

And animating this new Polo Tourbillon Relatif timepiece is the manufactory-made Piaget 608P mechanical hand-wound flying tourbillon movement.

The whole design without a doubt reveals a fabulous combination of exquisiteness and elegance, as well as technology and beauty. Suspended from the minute hand, the tourbillon carriage demonstrates 3 titanium bridges. It rotates once per minute on its own axis. With the center of rotation in the middle, the minute hand accomplishes one full revolution per hour. Sparkling with 27 jewels, the caliber operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, offering a power reserve 68 hours.

In addition, the new watch comes with a black alligator leather strap finalized by a folding clasp, which is also crafted out of 18-carat white gold.

The runway, I bet, must have kept stunning you by presenting to you with those designers who know no limits for their designs. And when you scan the sunglasses for the Spring/Summer season 2011, you can again feel the boldness of the designers. The sunglasses trends would be loved by those style adventurers who are eager to try something untraditional.

Now you see the spring just around the corner? Then it’s the exact time for you to check out the newest tendencies, which can make your fascinating outfits look trendier and even more eye-catching.

Besides the face shapes, some other factors will also affect the way we pick the right sunglasses. An important one should be the style we wish to achieve. The spring/summer 2011 runway has shown us some sunglasses trends with designs and shades which can perfectly live up to the expectations of the ever growing fashion-conscious party, because they look for brand new looks and sharp styles.

Cat Eye Sunglasses
It is kind of vintage here, since you’ll feel that you had gone back to the 50s and 60s, when cat eye sunglasses were really popular. It might seem a little difficult to pick a right pair within sunglasses of such shapes, but that’s not the case actually. Faces that go well with these sunglasses should be of square and heart shapes. Best choice will be those fab monochrome or printed cat eye sunglasses.

John Lennon Sunglasses
Designers now try to create something fab, inspired by the famous singer, John Lennon. So how do you like these special glasses? You can pair them with a breezy summer dress or add them to your casual and colorful chic apparel. However, those who own a round face should skip the trend, or they might lead to a disaster.

Retro Sunglasses
it seems like a time for people to look back on the past and make something new out of the old styles. One easy and good pick will be the retro sunglasses, which come in countless kinds of shades and designs. But these pairs all bring back a tint of glamour from the 60s and 70s. So just pick the right shape and designs depending on your preferences and face shape.

Edgy Sunglasses
Still not enough to meet the needs from the heart of an adventurer? Then you should check out the rather edgy pairs. Say goodbye to being an ordinary girl. You can do it by learning something high-fashion from the runway, something futuristic, with out-of-this-world details. The designers adopt brand new ideas on the structures and colors and designs, creating sunglasses for special and bold ladies.

Miu Miu did this just in time, although it might has been a bit late for me to post this here (too late actually), but I’ve told myself that I should, since I love these special and sharp designs of the line. Miu Miu has launched recently its Capsule collection dedicated to the Valentine’s Day, emphasizing the girlish touch as usual.

A fan of designer bags? Then you must have met the scalloped edges restated in the new Poya See by the house of Chloe. And maybe that’s why here these new works from Miu Miu look a bit familiar to you. They appear somewhat childish and yet charming and feminine meanwhile.   The line offers portfolios purses, handbags and clutch bags, bags and door iPad in a variety of colors ranging from white to blush pink through to the classic red, black and navy, even mixed together.

This time the house is also playing with the shape of one of its iconic accessories, the heart-shaped earrings, transforming them into a beautiful and romantic display case for showcasing its products. Shoulder-strap bags and patent leather clutches can be seen in these special heart-shaped coffers, all of which are decorated with small-scale ruffled edges. The line has got something else, like the shiny hair-bands and earrings, ravishing and exclusive. Enriched by small crystals, flowers and oversize pearls, the designs are to be loved by countless fashion ladies. Ruffles seem everywhere, including the exquisite leather wallets.

The new Miu Miu cases for iPod and iPad also look great, fabulously completing the collection, which is dedicated to this very special and romantic day.

Yep, serpent, again. It is already no surprise to see the image of a serpent among the collections from the Italian house of Bulgari, since it has been applied to their designs by Bulgari for decades. The serpent symbolizes eternal youth and wisdom. And now here what you see is a new addition to the renowned snake-inspired collection – the Serpenti 7 Coils Lady’s watch.

Another thing on this watch that you may be quite familiar with will be the brand’s iconic “woven” Tubogas bracelet, which consists of 7 coils, crafted from rose gold. The total length of the bracelet, accordingly, constitutes 35 meters, meaning 5 meters per coil.

The bracelet is rather skillfully created in order to fit an average-sized feminine forearm comfortably. It joins to a rose gold case, presented in the shape of the serpent’s head. To add much more glamour and fascination, the watch has got a graceful bezel with 38 brilliant-cut diamonds.

The body of this watch encloses a silvered dial. It appears dipped in a sticky bath of 190 precious diamonds. You can see merely two Roman numerals on the dial as hour markers, at 6 and 12 o’clock. And completing the whole are the two centralized rose gold hour and minutes hands. The dial of this new Bulgari model is protected by a high-grade sapphire crystal.

Beating inside the case is a Swiss made reliable quartz movement.

To people who have been in search of a perfect union of gold and diamonds, this new Serpenti 7 Coils Lady’s watch from Bulgari is sure to provide you with some nice surprise.

Look at those colors on the Fendi runway. Fendi this time tells people how to make colors go well with each other. But to me the Spring/Summer 2011 Runway Collection triggers a mix of emotions. The designs are quite simple, which makes them look classy and elegant. But still, perhaps I was expecting more on the aspect of creativity. Nevertheless, I’ll give them a pass anyway, for it seems a very nice thing to step in these heels. You can check them out and see whether they work for you.

It’s interesting to see what, if anything, a brand’s runway collection has to do with the rest of the line that it releases in stores. But this time Fendi seems not interested in doing that at all. We can find in the collection much iteration of sandals and platforms and collages of colors that we saw on the brand’s Milan runway, but the rest of the line mainly includes shapes and ideas that we’ve seen Fendi do successfully in recent seasons. We can see large platforms and high heels dominate. Cutout sandals and pumps with changeable bows are among the best of the line’s non-runway offerings.

Color-blocking should be the name of the game. And fashion ladies now can utter a sigh of relief, since gone were the cringe-inducing stilettos and wobbly platforms. Taking their places are sensible heel heights. You’ll see that the moderate heels come in sensible textures like wood, leather and cork. I myself feel that the cork heels were a nice spring touch, the shoes – except for the platforms – were somehow a little disappointing. Perhaps there could have been something more tantalizing to show. The platforms, like I said, were my favorite.

For 2011 collection, Richard Mille unveiled its new tourbillon timepiece – the RM 026, which is presenting to us a fabulous union of sophisticated watchmaking technique and high quality jewelry. This new watch sparkles with the two precious snakes, which are meanwhile designed for keeping the tourbillon movement in place. One of the snakes in 18k white gold is adorned with ruby and diamond, and the other, emerald and diamond. The scales of the two majestic jewelry creations have been pieces engraved by hand.

This new Richard Mille watch has got a baseplate made of pure Black Onyx, which belongs to the agate family. The onyx features rectilinear black and white parallel stripes, while the fully black variety is true Black Onyx. It is said that this stone can direct negative energy towards the Earth to protect a person from negative thoughts and thus fill his life with equilibrium.

With the help of a differential gearing system, directly linked to the winding barrel, this RM 026 watch incorporates an innovative power reserve indicator. A rather considerate design is a red line etched on the surface, which enables the direct turning of the 48 hours power reserve barrel to make the user immediately notice that the watch needs to be wound. Besides, the torque limiting crown serves as a protector to prevent accidental overwinding.

The sophisticated tripartite case of the new watch is fully curved, offering extreme comfort of wearing. The unique tonneau shape of the case has been achieved via 47 stamping operations, with 21 of them for the forming. The case is water-resistant to 50 meters. It does take lots of efforts to do such a good job of assembling the bezel side and the case back in the case middle and meanwhile avoiding any constraint and damage to the sapphires.

I bet such a ravishing, mysterious and functional Richard Mille RM 026 Tourbillon Watch is sure to be a great hit in the market. It has managed to show how incredibly the story ends when technology meets elegance.

The wind of vintage style goes on sweeping the fashion world in 2011. Scan the designers’ collections for spring-summer season 2011, and you are to find the fashion from the 70s is back in trend. Yet, I’m pretty glad to see famous models in from this decade walking on the runway, wearing hair styles and make up from the 70s. And it seems that in this spring-summer season designers are quite happy to present to us all of the vibrant and eye-catching colors. Apart from attires, there are other things that are worth attention. Delicate skin, perfectly outlined red lips, big fluffy hair inspired by the 70s style are to take a rather important place among the fashion trends of 2011.

Here I’m going to give you some tips on what to let go from the present fall/winter season and what is going to stay in vogue.

First maybe it’s time to forget about dark or violet lipstick colors and stake on perfectly outlined red lips.

And you’d better also forget about the dark eyes, since eye shadows in light pastel colors are in trend. Paired with nude hues, yet without eye liner, you are going to appear trendy and elegant.

Things are also different with hair styles. If you are still pursuing the sleek, wet effect, you can now stop that. While the crazy and fluffy styles from the 70s are in vogue. And you can find the best examples on the 2011 show of Marc Jacobs.

Well, there’re some other details to go for. In this new year of 2011, it seems that, during the coming season, long oval nails polished in bright and eye-catching colors would be fashionable, like what Dior has presented to us on the runaway.

And please say goodbye to big, thick eyebrows, since they have been replaced by outlined, well shaped eyebrows. For this you can find examples from the Vera Wang models.

Without anything studded in your wardrobe, you are then utterly out of date. For the Fall/Winter season 2010, Burberry handbags are all about the studs. They climb on to lots of Burberry bags, big ones, little ones, or medium ones… But it seems that they simply belong there, so harmoniously and fabulously. Among all these great studded bags, you are sure to find some to suit your pleasure. While in fact we’ve seen studs for awhile now, somehow Burberry has managed to make some differences.

This studded leather hobo in rich chocolate with brass studs will be a great everyday companion for many of us. Giant studs embellish this bag for ultimate impact. Their size takes it out of the ordinary and into extraordinary. I especially love the all black version of this Burberry bag. This Burberry bag fits nicely against the body with its size of 14″ x 8 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ and 9″ strap drop.

Well, this medium leather Multi-Stud Hobo Bag is a feast of studs. From teeny tiny to small sizes, this Burberry bag is covered with studs in a graduated pattern that feels like you are looking at the beautiful night sky. Somehow, they have managed to escape edgy and rocker and turned it into something mild, peaceful and inviting to touch. The flap with buckle and belt detail are quite interesting, but I’d almost like it best without it. Size is small enough not to be overdone at 9″ x 15″ x 2″.

For those seeking even more visual stimulation, this Burberry yellow ochre Studded Sling Bag must be the one designed for you. A rich and mellow yellow color perfect for the season is accented by large and oversize studding. A rolled handle and an 11 1/2″ drop shoulder strap give you carrying options for this smaller sized bag. This one measures 12″ x 5 1/2″ x 2″.

I am glad to see this watch from Bell & Ross. It might be wrong, but in my eyes, it is one that has combined fun and seriousness. This BR 01-92 Radar watch is inspired by aircraft cockpits, where each instrument is a reference point in terms of legibility, reliability and performance. An aircraft’s radar allows easy, accurate and instantaneous reading of what is often a complex situation. As for the design of this timepiece, Bell & Ross has borrowed the radar display and adapted it to the BR 01 Radar watch, absolutely going beyond the concept of the traditional reading of the time.

We can find some great innovations in this model. What first stands out about the Radar is the simplicity of its display, a departure from normal convention. It is reminiscent of the light beam that sweeps the circular screen of the radar.

The hands and the dial merge onto a single plane. In their place, three brightly colored line segments are placed on three independent concentric disks. They indicate the hours, minutes and seconds as the eye moves towards the centre of the dial. The glass of the dial resembles a target. Two graduated perpendicular axes are superimposed on the disks to indicate the time. To read it, each differently colored line segment refers to a unit of time: red indicates the hours, yellow the minutes and green the seconds. The dial and the casing are matte black, providing a sharp contrast to increase its legibility.

Great technological feats are also displayed in this Radar watch. The simplicity of the design has concealed the great complexity of its inner workings. The technological challenge posed by its design and production required the collaboration of the finest watch making engineers. Since each disk weighs 30 times more than a watch hand, ultra-light disks needed to be created that maintained the watch’s power reserve and accuracy. Furthermore, each disk needed to be sufficiently resistant so as maintain its integrity and minimize friction. This dual challenge required the development of specific materials and new techniques. During the rotation, an adjustment to the nearest micron ensures that the disks are constantly parallel. It did take the work of master watchmakers to accomplish such a masterpiece.

The uniqueness must be the biggest attraction of this watch. Combining the dial and hands on a single plane, this new Bell & Ross watch offers its fans a new perception of time by liberating them from the conventional manner of reading a watch. Behind the elegant simplicity of the Radar’s display there’s a treasure chest of complexity, and the unique tri-colored style never ceases to surprise. The watch is available in a limited version of 500 pieces worldwide.

People who have been following information from the world of watchmaking will be quite familior with the luxury Swiss watch manufacturer Blancpain. Founded in 1735 by Jehan-Jaques Blancpain, the company once went into bankruptcy for a long period but then was saved by Jean-Claude Biver, an executive with Omega. Blancpain is now owned by the Swatch Group. Nick Hayek, the son of The Swatch Group’s founder and chairman, Nicolas Hayek is now running the company.

Although not as renowned as huge brands like Rolex and Breitling, Blancpain, still, has been presenting surely awesome timepieces to the world. This time the company has prepared a gorgeous watch for next year’s Saint Valentine, which is to be unveiled at SIHH 2011 – the Blancpain Saint-Valentin 2011. Unlike the one for last year’s with curly pear-shaped beauty, this one has got what every girl really desire for – diamonds, hearts and a flyback chronograph with complete calendar moonphase.

The most adorable part will be the heart-shaped ruby at 12 o’clock. Then the heart-tipped date indicator also adds the required subtle lovey-dovey symbolic touches, but inside is the self-winding Calibre 6763 movement with 100 hours of power reserve.

This Saint-Valentin 2011 has got an exquisite white mother-of-pearl dial and it comes in a feminine box but otherwise this is a refreshingly serious mechanical piece. The watch measures 34mm in diameter, constructed from stainless steel and features an exhibition caseback through which you can view a rotor engraved with three hearts.

Paired with a white alligator leather strap, this Blancpain Saint-Valentin 2011 is a limited edition of 99 pieces.
